Hi, My name is Julia! I am a Senior at Ohio University, double majoring in Journalism and Information Design: Publication, with a minor in Studio Art. My anticipated graduation is in May of 2024.
I am currently the Editor-In-Chief of VIS Magazine, an art direction publication based in Athens, OH. I am also the Digital Director for Backdrop Magazine, also in Athens.
I have prior internship experience with the Franklin County Auditor as a graphic design and communications intern, and at Science Magazine as the Visuals Intern in the summer of 2023.
I currently hold three jobs; as an Ambassador for the Scripps College of Communication, as Design Editor of the Athena Yearbook, and as a graphic designer for Ohio University Athletics. I also volunteer as a VisCom Ambassador; representing the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University.
I also work as a freelance graphic designer for local businesses, wedding suites, and individual projects.
I am an avid painter, illustrator, and creative. my goal is to create every day!
